You don't have to adopt a dog to save a life!

We are a foster-based rescue organization which means we must secure foster volunteers in order to pull dogs from the streets or shelters.  

​

Fostering is a temporary solution for providing housing, love, and care for homeless dogs until they are adopted. AHFP Dog Rescue provides all the supplies and medical care. We are there with you every step of the way! AHFP Dog Rescue even have mentors and training guidance from certified dog trainers available when needed. We are a team and our ultimate goal is to find loving, furever homes for our foster pups.

Foster volunteers are asked to:

• take their foster pups to our scheduled appointments for spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and medical check ups

• actively promote their foster dogs via adoption events and social media exposure 

• observe and report any medical concerns or behavioral issues to AHFP Dog Rescue
